About the project
HiBye was a carpooling service app connecting drivers and passengers in the EU and Ukraine. Denys Havryliak worked on it part-time as an iOS Developer from January 2019 to February 2020.
What was built
He created the iOS project from zero to a pre-release build. It never reached the App Store: the project itself closed first.
A flow built around the route
The screens below come from the project’s UX/UI design file, version 1, in Ukrainian. A passenger sets where from and where to on a map, picks a date and a time, and gets a list of planned rides to book; a Your trips tab keeps planned and past rides apart. If no ride matches, the design offers a notification so HiBye can look for a driver and alert the passenger when one appears.
Drivers: regular routes and a weekly fuel draw
On the driver side, the design’s onboarding describes creating a regular route and choosing the days of travel, and one screen announces a weekly draw for 10 liters of fuel for drivers who carry at least one passenger a week.
